Dr Lai is the pioneer of Christian Television Broadcasting ministry in East and Central Africa having began his weekly broadcast "Family Glory" 14 years ago with Kenya's national broadcasting television, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) and later Kenya Television Network (KTN). The programme is now aired in (Uganda, and has also been aired in South Africa, US and Sweden). His media outreach reaches millions through TV and radio.
JCC is the fastest growing church in East and Central Africa with a membership of over 20,000. The main sanctuary is a 10,000 seater tent (the largest in Africa) located in a 75 acre facility that houses JCC Educational Complex (Primary and Secondary School), Shekem restaurant, and the upcoming 30,000 seater sanctuary among many other developments.
Dr. Lai hosts a “Word Explosion Leaders Conference” yearly every 1st Week of December (2nd – 9th Dec). At the beginning of this year (2007) Dr Lai received from the Lord a burden to equip young ministers of the gospel from accross Africa through impartation. To that end, he is inviting 3 delegates all the 58 African Countries to this years historic “Word Explosion Conference Africa Summit”. GROUND TRANSPORTATION:
You will be picked up from the airport by our
conference staff and taken to the hotel. A car and
driver will be assigned to you to daily take you to
and from the conference. The cost is $3 a day for
3 passengers per car.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
You are required to have a valid passport, visa
and immunization against yellow fever and
cholera. Anti-malaria tablets are recommended.
the visa can be obtained at your transfer arrival
to Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta Airport. You will just
need to fill in the visa form and pay 50 US$ or 40
euro. You will also clear with immigration and
customs before continuing to Mombasa.
MEALS:
The conference prepares lunch and dinner for
international delegates for a fee of $6 per meal.
This is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with
delegates from other countries. If you book your
hotel room at a rate inclusive of breakfast and
dinner, remember that the hotel stops serving
dinner at 9:00 PM each evening. If you book your
hotel room at a rate that includes breakfast only,
